Made with AlienMelon's Electric-Zine-Maker!

EZ ZINE: an environmental anti-capitalist zine. It includes a recipe on how to make your own oat milk, as well as a few pages on why vegan capitalism is tricky to navigate as an eco-activist.

Corporations like Oatly like to place the responsibility of 'saving the planet' on us as customers by guilting us into buying their overpriced 'eco-friendly' products.   Whilst the production of oat milk definitely has less of a carbon impact than dairy production - the marketing technique these companies employ is merely a way to distract us from the fact that they, as multi-million dollar corporations, are in fact the biggest cause of carbon emissions and thus climate change.

On a more positive note: this recipe is cheap and the end result works really well with cereal, coffee, milkshakes and protein shakes. I use coconut oil to emulsify the milk, which also gives it a great flavour!

This zine was originally printed in three colours using risograph (see below). Whilst there are none currently available at the moment, I can print more copies in the future. Contact me at @niceberg_lettuce on Instagram if interested.
